My favorite music is jazz from the 50 and 60’s. Usually the small quartet type of jazz with acoustic bass, drums, piano, sax or trumpet. Although smooth jazz sounds good, I don’t really enjoy it and I rarely want to buy a smooth jazz album. There are some modern groups such as Wynton Marsalis and others that I enjoy.
Although I’m a Christian at heart, I’m not as big of a fan of the music. Although I love to sing worship songs on Sundays, it’s not my favorite music for leasurely enjoyment. Perhaps there’s an interesting theological discussion there, but for now, I’ll leave it at that.
