## Birthday

The major plan for a birthday gift is a Tivo and subscription to their service for a couple years so that we can record all his favorite shows, like Reading Between the Lions, Sesame Street, Reading Rainbow. This way we can watch these together at any time. Some of these shows come on early in the day and we might not necessarily watch it at the time it airs. This way we can watch it and skip commercials. Matthew also begins to memorize some of the words after repeated watchings. So having the same episode for him to watch several times will facilitate memorization and learning of the words.
