Cookies and Helicopters
We all had an evening of making Christmas cookies and flying little RC helicopters. The cookie making was a large project that my mother started the previous days.
She started making the dough for several of the cookies a couple days before. The “Wandering Jews” have pieces of candied fruit that need to set with the dough for a while to let the flavors mingle.
The tiny little helicopters were really cool. The first time I’ve ever seen such small RC helicopters. They cost about $30 and are light as a feather with a styro-foam body. The don’t have much controls. You can go up / down and turn left / right. Unfortunately, my mother had stepped on Michaels helicopter as she was walking through the flight area.
